It has been a long way – moving the solution from Dynamics NAV to the format of extensions for Dynamics Business Central and then passing certification at Microsoft. Now I am proud to announce that PIMICS - the solution for product data management – is available in Microsoft AppSource.
Benefits for a Customer
It is just a few clicks away. You can have an extension that enables you to manage product data efficiently, import data from suppliers and export it to sales channels like E-Shops. You do not need product that is outside your Business Central (whether in an on-premises or SaaS version), it should be a direct part of it. Thus, you make the most of the infrastructure that you have already had or have leased it within the SaaS without any further costs.
You also get a product that is being continuously extended and improved within the subscription or maintenance. In addition, the new Business Central architecture enables easy upgrades performed almost without any effort.
Certification for AppSource
You do not have to worry that you get a non-functional or incomplete solution. Each solution needs to meet demanding conditions before it can be published in AppSource. Besides the functionality, Microsoft also verifies the documentation and other necessary components of the solution. In addition to many customer references that prove PIMICS is a good solution, Microsoft has verified it and recommends it to be used in Business Central.
