You simply place products in any number of product categories and related subcategories in PIMICS. You can link product items with the appropriate accessories or similar products. PIMICS then transfers the information for example to Amazon or to the catalogue’s print data.

Inheritance and Bulk Changes

Efficient management of data that differ (even if it differ just minimally) is one of the key features of the PIM system. PIMICS enables to define product data for the whole category and to set up inheritance for each related item without re-entering. Bulk changes can be used, where we cannot make use of inheritance. You can edit what you need for selected items. The goal is still the same – to manage common data in one place.

Translations

You can easily translate all information to any number of foreign languages in a PIM system. If a word matches across languages, you only need to enter it once. When the data is changed, the PIM system alerts you to necessity of translation of modified passages. If you outsource translations, you can easily export texts for translation or for language proofing.

Before the publication of products, you choose in PIMICS what data set should be displayed in each sales channel. Data is chosen automatically based on the user-defined rules. It is logical, that E-Shop requires a different set and amount of product information than for example printed catalogue or eBay. PIMICS will help you with all this.
